April-May 2019

On one of the days during spring break we took the train downtown to Temple Square to see all the spring flowers - they were beautiful!  Avery especially had fun taking pictures of the flowers and she got some really great shots.

My spring cross stitch project!

More gorgeous tulips, this time at Thanksgiving Point with Mom and Rick.  So many beautiful areas to walk around!

Teacher Appreciation week at school - I helped the kids decorate the door for Mrs. Simi.  She's so awesome!

Here's the view we had in the stadium at BYU the night the girls participated in Hope of America.  They practiced the songs at school for soooo many months and were so well prepared!  Jayce was also there the same night so we hooked up afterward for a picture.

Kaleidoscope Spring Concert pics 2019!  The theme was Disney and the girls did a contemporary dance to a lyrical version of a Winnie the Pooh song.

Happy Mother's Day get together at mom's!  We planted some flowers for her and had a great time working in the dirt.

Eastlake Choir Concert - with Cassidy and Piper.  All about the 80's.  They learned so many songs that the parents could sing along too - it was really fun!  Dressing up was the best too!

One of Presley's spring concerts was at the Assembly Hall downtown temple square this year!

Alison has been such a great choir director year after year - Presley's definitely learned a lot from her!

Presley and Ella and the flowers mom got for her at the Farmer's Market - another new and different location this year for a performance.

Lagoon Day 2019 thanks to Overstock.  It's awesome that there are no long lines and even more awesome when friends get to come with us!

Progress, progress!  About another year to go and he won't have to endure the ortho visits anymore.

Jan-March 2019

The girls (and mom) worked hard in January on 5th grade science projects.  The results were fabulous and their teacher, Mrs. Simi, thought so too!  It definitely was a lot of hard work -  the actual experimenting and all the steps they followed with the research they did and then displaying it so nicely - phew!

Caleb, Leland and Ashton on Valentines Day.  Leland gave out a rose to every girl at school!

Annalyn's last drill performance as a junior - so much fun to watch her dance!

The girls created a dance of their own and performed in front of their 5th grade class and parents.  They practiced sooo hard all on their own and it definitely paid off!  They both are such fun and talented dancers.

Caleb took these pictures one night as we were having our few minutes of scriptures before bed.  I think he really likes his hair.   Memories, memories!

Jackson, Caleb and Ashton after a great band concert!  Jackson and Caleb both do percussion and Ashton plays the trumpet.

Another huge 5th grade accomplishment for the girls - they put on Peter Pan the musical as a class!  The girls both got to share the role of Wendy - switching the pink nightgown halfway through!  They memorized soooo many lines and sung a lot of songs with everyone.  Presley even got to sing a little solo at the very end.  It was so entertaining and well done!  Lots of extended family members and even our neighbor Karen came to watch them shine!

Such memories they made with all their friends and classmates -  I don't think they'll ever forget it!

We went to a wedding reception at the end of March for Quin Volpe and got to see the Peays.  The girls love being with Abby any chance they get!
