Holiday happenings

Presley's holiday choir concert - what a cutie!  It was spectacular!  She got to perform at a couple places, including The Festival of Trees.

Visiting the elves at Gardner Village.

Annual sugar cookie decorating - our counter is perfect for it!

And we love our chalkboard too!

Adorable project we did in art class!

My mom and I were on our way to the MOTAB Christmas concert (yes, she got tickets!) and we were rear ended pretty bad while at a stoplight, and then we ran into the car in front of us.  So sad!  We were grateful it wasn't worse and we didn't get hurt (the car didn't even look bad - the car behind kind of just slid under mine, so in the end we had to take it in to fix some things underneath).  Maybe someday we'll get to go to that Christmas concert!

Grandma Jeanne and Papa Rick's Christmas party and cousin gift exchange.  Everyone wore pj's and Grandma had a stuffed animal gift for each of them!  One of our gifts we gave was for Cal - a popper toy that he loooooved.  It was perfect for him!

Our pretty lit up tree...Christmas morning set-up followed by disaster -

American Girl Dolls for both of these dolls and a perfect gift to Presley from Avery - exactly what she wanted!

The month ended with our Anniversary at Tuscany - beautiful! 17 years!

Favorite part of Thanksgiving - the pies!

We got to have Papa Rick and Grandma Jeanne all to ourselves at our house on Thanksgiving Day! Terrie and Mike had had us over the weekend before.   We each made two pies so the tasting of different kinds was the best!

Oh how grateful we are for soooo many things - and being grateful really does make our lives more full!

November 14, 2015 - Baptism Day!

What a special day we shared with Avery and Presley!  Congratulations on becoming a member of the church you two - we love you! P.S. You both look beautiful!

What??

5th grade Dragon Leader recipient!

This long hair might be a record.  This is the moment before...

and what he looked like when he came home!  Silly Caleb - it's always all or nothing when it comes to his hair!

It's Fall!

We love Fall Art Projects!  We did the darling zentangle pumpkins during one of the sessions of conference - good activity to do while listening.  The fall squares were done at art class - one of the more chaotic ones yet - lots of little details make for lots of supplies, lots of instruction and lots of patience.  The leaf prints were also done in art class - beautiful!

We did a hike to some hot springs with Brian and Alisha.  Yes, Brian and the kids actually got in the water...It was actually a pretty hot day and a great time with cousins!

Hiking to Stewart fall with Grandma - THE BEST!  We had to start right from the Sundance entrance instead of up further near Brickerhaven, so it was a little hard and long, but we made it!

We had a couple fun outings to Cornbelly's this year - Emily and her girls are super fans of this place and I think it rubbed off on these three!

First glimpses of costumes at breakfast before school and nothing like waiting until Halloween Day to pick your pumpkin - its the best when it falls on a Saturday!  (For mom anyway)

Trunk-r-treat!

Cutest tiger ever (make-up was a success!), a genuine Minnion and a sweet and sassy Ladybug this year!
